‘Hanwell on Film’ project aim was to generate a unique record of Hanwell communities, heritage, projects and initiatives producing a portrait of Hanwell people and places.
The project launched in January 2017 and aim was to train local volunteers in media and communication skills in order to capture and create a record of the area and the Big Local programme as it unfolds over time.
Organised by The Art Box, their creative team tried to involved people in the project, from the training to telling and capturing stories and oral histories, building a photographic record and making documentary films.
