Training & Development Project continued in 2017. We had great interest from members of the community and have awarded funds to successful applicants.

This is a great way to improve the skills and to give back to the community so they can benefit from what you have to offer.

L2 Caring for Children and Education Course at Uxbridge College

I would like to express my gratitude for the financial support from HBL, this funding is very valuable to me, without a doubt it has helped me immensely to get back to study and achieve my educational aspiration in childcare, and rebuild my confidence. Once qualified I will be able to get a job and  hopefully work in the HBL community.

DJ training / On The Rise Music Limited

This training was on my list of ‘things to do’ for a while now, but with my salary, I would not have been able to fund this myself anytime time in the near future. This funding will enable me to turn a hobby into a potential career or at the very least provide another revenue stream to supplement my current earnings. I can also give back to my community through Hanwell Big Local / EASE, a subject close to my heart and an opportunity I am very thankful for.
